I didn't think I would enjoy this movie but I did. Don Cheadle is a great actor and was able to take the character of Petey Greene and give it real depth. The movie is about Greene who was a DJ in Washington, D.C. in the late 60s who kept it real for African Americans by talking to them straight on and asking them to talk to him, thus the title "Talk to Me."

Source: ShutterstockTomorrow is the day when I fly off into the friendly blue skies, on JetBlue no less, to Cancun, Mexico. Yeah! I’ll be gone till next Friday and primarily plan on lying by the pool and beach, swimming — lots and lots of swiming, and hopefully some snorkeling. I don’t have much money to shop though I would like a couple of nice Mexican blankets to put on my sofa to remind me of my travels.
While Cancun is primarily known for Spring Break, which I am missing thankfully, it also has some of the best scuba diving. I haven’t been diving in years and being sick a lot this winter doesn’t have me in the best physical shape to go diving. If I do feel good snorkeling I might take a mini dive to refresh my skills and see how that goes. It would be great to go diving but my expectations aren’t unrealistic.
So, keep an eye out over the next week for videos and updates about my trip. If you have been to Cancun let me know of any great restaurants or activities to try out.
